At SWEED Machinery, our commitment goes beyond manufacturing material handling equipment—we believe in giving back to the community that has been part of our story for generations. Gold Hill has been home to SWEED for decades, and we take pride in supporting local initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Over the years, we have contributed to the city of Gold Hill in a variety of ways, focusing on education, youth programs, and community development. One of our early contributions was helping establish the town’s public library by donating the land where it stands today. We also played a role in creating Gold Hill’s community park, giving local youth a dedicated space to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

SWEED has also supported local schools through various initiatives, including holiday support efforts that help foster children throughout Jackson County. Additionally, we’ve been proud sponsors of the Sparrow Clubs program, stepping up whenever a local school adopts a Sparrow. This program provides financial and emotional support for children facing medical challenges while teaching students the value of compassion and service—a mission that aligns closely with our own core values.

As we continue to grow, so does our dedication to the Gold Hill community. Most recently, we’ve partnered with Gold Hill Community Partners to expand our outreach efforts and strengthen local support programs. While our employees live across Southern Oregon, Gold Hill is home to SWEED.
